The Steven Reid trained Gold Ace looks to have peaked at just the right time of the season with an impressive win in tonight's (Friday October 12) Group three Canterbury Classic at Addington Raceway. The victory granted him automatic entry into harness racing's biggest race on November 13 - the $600,000 Christchurch Casino New Zealand Trotting Cup.
