Gold Ace is the big mover from in the latest round of New Zealand Cup rankings. His win in the automatic qualifier last Friday (October 12), the Glenferrie Farm Canterbury Classic, sees him jump from 11th to 3rd. This was to be 4th, until the withdrawal of the North island's leading harness racing hope - Sir Lincoln yesterday afternoon (Monday October 15).
