Just read in todays Daily Telegraph Wednesday, October 24, tucked away in the one column Harness Racing news of the racing liftout on page 43 the following story.
" Cameron Fitzpatrick pleaded guilty to three charges in the Downing Centre Local Court yesterday in relation to the on-going investigation by Police regarding the widespread scandal that rocked the sport last year.
Fitzpatricks charges included one of making an offer to make a payment and two of making a payment to a steward to ensure a horse wasn't drug tested.
The young trainer/driver is due back in court on December 18 for sentencing."
The wheels of justice move slowly, but moving they are.
