New Zealand harness racing fans from the 1970s and beyond will remember broadcasting icon John May. . . A radio and television presenter of years gone by, May has also been a club committee man, marketing manager for Harness Racing New Zealand and the Auckland Trotting Club, and has was also one of the co-founders of the New Zealand Sires Stakes Board.
