Went to Bankstown trots today ( didn't see any pigeon shit....where is the triple miester these days???) and got a pleasant surprise to see Ron Bottle making a return to the stewards panel.

Without a doubt one the most efficient, courteous and knowledgable stipes that ever wore the trenchcoat! And everyone knows it's VERY hard to gain the respect of participants in the role, but I can honestly say, I have never heard a single person say anything crook about Ron, he was always highly respected throughout the game for his honest, straight way of dealing with people that always displayed an empathy for the people in the game.

Anyway, welcome back Mr Bottle for as long as you choose, there will be plenty of people saying just that I'm sure.

[VVV] Walk up the stairs from under the grandstand and make a left when you get to the top. You will find more Guano deposited there than you will find on on the island of Nauru.

Great to see you are still in the land of the living Triple, next time I go to Bankstown I'll remember to avoid that spot and luckily I didn't close today.
If that pic is ridgy didge, I'd reckon someone needs to do a bit of 'spring cleaning" certainly I can almost smell it from here!

Danno you certainly can smell something but I'm surprised that a non urban dweller such as yourself can not recognise it as bovine in origin! If you google Pidgeon crap that picture will come up from an advertisement for a US based company who not surprisingly specialise in getting rid of the stuff.

You didn't really think VVV would go to Bankstown to take snapshots did you?

I was trying to flush the triple out a bit more Dot, but that won't happen now will it?
It's called fishing around here and it usually works on "big mouthed bass...."...thats why I used that particular bait, they say you have to "match the hatch"

My favourite part comes early on...where he chops the tip of the rod off in the celing fan.

Those blokes make some of my exploits on the Lachlan look totally professional. LMAO. Mind you, am glad no-ones had the camera on me on the Clarence either...thank God!
