The drive on the favorite had to be seen to be believed drawn 2 settled 2nd last one out took run on inside with no hope of getting thru finished well when got clear but race over.Previous start showed gate speed from 8 when won

Have seen many horses get blocked for runs when driver elects to go for a spot that is not going anywhere on purpose, when favorite.

The thing that gets me is that Im a small punter & It sticks out like thingos (didn't want to be crude), so if we can see it so should the stewards.
Awaiting the report.
And the team driving is real bad. These drivers come up with excuses from their own written excuse book & they are believed....just another thing that bugs me.

That drive was indeed totally bewildering:confused:
I could sorta understand the drive if the horse was a "roughie"
& was driven for a bit of luck for a place...but a fav full of running?

To make things worse from a pure "perspective" point of view
a $45 wins & wins well sitting parked over the 2030m

May have seen a worse one today at Tamworth 2/5 3wide the whole journey at the rear of field.Keep letting people like this drive and no one will bet on Harness racing.

The stewards have noted the drive on Lifes a ranger

Mel I can't make any sense out of this. I think Brian may have been dreaming!

Had another look and maybe not as bad as first thought but was 3 wide going back to last then a couple of lengths of the field went 3 wide again for more than a lap ,the winner came from just in front of him and went whooska he was left out there.Went back to rear still 3 wide or maybe wider.Horse would have slept well last night
