Sovereignty looks to step up in National Trot

Harness racing trainer Sean McCaffrey can see a window of opportunity and he hopes stable star Sovereignty can trot right through it. Sovereignty was the forgotten trotter of our open class elite after a hapless New Zealand Cup Week almost ruined his summer. He returned almost ignored in the long shadow of I Can Doosit at Cambridge on Monday but emerged from his first start in six weeks looking a serious force again.
