:confused: How in this day and age, even at far flung, out of the way Narrabri, can this still happen in 2013? Got a bald spot from scratching my head!

Another silly mistake was Hawke going for home a lap early at Bathurst last week.

Bloody impossible to mix a horse up on race day especially when you train it . Don't they inspect the horse when it come's to parade ring ? They do here at Parkes.

Thanks Brendan...this is now an interesting case. I guess we are talking catheads or goathorns as the contributing factor to the identification process. I am thinking the $3,000 fine is penalty enough in this case, considering there was no big sting involved here. The ID Official won't be lax in future either.
