Just to break the deafening silence, last night in the W.A. Derby witnessed not only the Gary Hall stable but Australia's new superstar - ALTA CHRISTIANO.

Yes, a very composed performance for such a relatively inexperienced youngster. Sat wide for half a lap then outside leader then cruised to the lead and just kept going. Strong looking fella, too.

Pretty damn impressive. Looks like they have one to take Quinn's place when his raicng days are done.
Interseting reading Junior's take on him in comparison to ITMQ that he doesn't have Quinn's pace but has a bigger heart so you can drive him tougher. Probably more of a typical Hall runner than Quinn is in that regard. The camp is certainly doing everything right and good luck to them.
