Anyone see Earl of Mot's run at Melton on Friday night??? Disgraceful over use of the whip when the horse was well beaten.

It certainly looks bloody average Rich. The horse has had 193 starts for him and been in the placings 87 times - about time Lance got off and carried Earl of Mot over the line!

John, Earl of Mot has earned over $500,000 in his career and been a real money spinner for his connections. I reckon Lance hit that horse 27 times from the time he went around the corner and at least 6 times after the horse was beaten, it's a bloody disgrace that he keeps getting away with this type of driving.

Lance Justice is one of the few who actually whip within the rules, overkill perhap's in this instance but for mine seemed o'k. I wonder if the steward's saw different ?.

Ok Greg, the short sharp ones might be okay but why would you give the horse another 5 or 6 good cracks, instead of just reigning him up, when he was well beaten and was going to clearly run 2nd?? It doesn't look real good.
