G Gees's (Graham) got a good one when it can win a C1 by 26m and come within .7 of the track record at Maryborough - driven by JP Lee. These names are just Bliss Man :D

Could have put this in the Speed Explosion thread but thought gee this will do. Bliss Man took a big chunk (.7) off the Hamilton Track Record today winning his C3 by 25m untouched in 1.54.1 coming home in 54.9

Yes Kevin, he really is shaping up as an interesting proposition!
Still seems quite green, i remember 2 runs ago i think, he was shaking his head around and not concentrating as if what he was doing was just trackwork jogging around, but ended up doing his now seeming average of about 1:54-1:55.
And in yesterdays Hamilton track record again running along pricking his ears, looking around on a Sunday stroll!
Will be interesting to see as he matures and then gets back out to 2200m etc and have to come from back row draws how he handles the traffic and behaves.

He is pretty good Ash - still very green and wanting to head everything else off ASAP but once again he runs very fast time with no barrier favours

yes kev ,you dont have to be a rocket scientist to know that horse can run...those who happen to be at the hamilton track where he does his fast work just shake their heads when their watches time his work over a mile and a half in under three minutes, his last mile in1:55-56,and his last quarter in 27-28 hard held...lookout when the penny drops and he wakes up to what its all about..

Interesting lesson given to Bliss Mans young driver tonite by Gavin Lang in race 1 Melton...
Gavin in death seat on second Fav, Bliss Man 1/1 sitting nicely.
After settling Jason Lee decides to go around to death seat at top of straight coming for the bell in a 1720m race,
Gav says "no son, you'll stay 3 wide actually" and he is trapped 3 wide the trip.
Gav runs 3rd, Bliss Man fades to 8th...
he may have got to the death in a 2240 race but not the sprint trip with the 2nd Fav there and G Lang aboard...

You failed to mention that it was a classic sting by Gavin - he hung right back to give the impression that he did not want the death and got the fave off his back - which is really what he did not want
