Just wondering if anyone was out there on the weekend for the sale??? The Gotta Go Cullect filly must have been impressive, selling for $115,000. Have met Jack Knight a few times and he's a real nice guy and good luck to him and Wayne with their purchases.

Perhaps I'm overly cautious ... but I'm always wary of the stop watch when deciding the value of babies. Jedi Mind reeled off a 26.9 quarter from memory ... and cost $95K as a result. I guess it's all easy in hindsight. That Cullect filly was a lovely, easy goer, though

I hope she goes better than his 3yr olds in Nz. As of today he has 4 winners from his first crop of 124 and only 2 of those look nice horses. Greg Payne is a great educator of young horses and has a reputation for selling horses that go on with the job, Sly Flyin and Courageous Annie being just two that spring to mind.This filly appears really smart and the mare already has a really talented horse racing but to judge his stock on this individual may be unwise.
Gotta Go Collect may yet right his stud numbers but to date he has been a major disappointment.
