Just for a bit of fun and memory recall. The same horse can't be used in each category.
The best horse to never win a :
Inter Dominion ( must have raced in 3 heat and final series).
Hunter Cup.
Group One.
I'll start it off. Inter- Paleface Adios in Perth when he fell.
Christian Cullen for the Huter Cup when he got pole axed at the start.
Karloo Mick for no group one's, He won over a million dollars without a Group One success.

Interdominion easy one. Comes to mind straight away.
Pure Steel. Finished 2nd and 3rd in finals.
Keeping in mind he won a Miracle Mile and 3 Hunter Cups. Also a Kilmore Cup in it's heyday when it was one of the biggest races on the calendar.

The other two I'll need to think about somewhat longer.

Interdominion: Popular Alm. Enough said!
Hunter Cup: Smoken Up. Although hes still racing, its likely hell retire without one.
Group 1: Could be anything. I'll go with Decorated Jasper.

Forgot about Flash Adios he was a very good horse. Peak Hill bred.

He was stabled about ten metres away from us at Newcastle showground when I was a young fella, a mighty little horse old flash, won good races at HP, Melbourne showgrounds and Brisbane, the Dows bred him, trained and driven by J.R Austin, some people knew him as Jack and some people knew him as Bob, grew up in Cessnock, in fact I bought a place off his brother Dick a few years ago and still have it.

Franco Ledger would have to be right up there.

Victor Supreme was unlucky not to win a G1. Placed in both the Auckland Cup and Interdominion Grand Final.

Castleton's Mission - 3 x G1 placed, 2 x G2 placed, 1 x G2 winner.

Inter Dominon - Quantum Lobell - Wasn't he the leading point scorer at both Globe Derby 1997 and Hobart 1998.
and the track record holder at Newcastle 1.53.1 (also set 1997)

Correct, very very good horse that didn't realise his full potential

I think his track record at Newcastle stood for about 9 years before Pay Me Christian bettered it.

His biggest problem was the horse stabled next to him - Our Sir Vancelot,
