Fri night at Addington, R6 Nr 3 Whisper Jet. I think it has to be a fair chance. Cindy is pleased to be driving it. So once again we'll be watching and cheering from afar :)

Big show. Johnny Fox is probably the main danger but he can't do much work so Whisper Jet is a real chance. Fingers crossed.

Just had a look at the field Phil, Cynthia is a big show and I noticed also that former Hunter Valley driver Michelle Nielson is on board Johnny Fox! Go the Aussie girls!
Dan, when is the next special at Tamworth. I noticed that Tamworth are having a bit of a recess.

Flat out getting one to the races at the moment Jack, going through a period where I can't do a thing right, the two I'm working are only a week or two away from the trials, hopefully we can have a bit of better luck and get them to the races soon, dunno about 175:1, we might have wait until they're 200's ha ha.

No luck for Cynthia Phil, that horse was going like a crippled crab a long way from home, she put it in a nice spot without using a skerick of petrol too.

Yes, spoke with her on the phone after the race, she was pretty devastated, tyre got flattened soon after the start. Horse wasn't travelling overly kindly which didn't help. I don't think it helped much telling her that she had driven a good race and that sometimes you just can't beat bad luck. In the end I told her to go out kick the dog, have a good yell at something/somebody, burn all her driving clothes, and that by lunchtime today she'd be getting herself back up :) Thankfully she was starting to sound brighter by the end of the phone call. I related to her that I've seen drivers come back with a flat tyre, get out of the cart kick the wheel and say "F... it, that's the 3rd flat tyre in a month". :)
Isn't horse racing one of the best tests of character? I often try to calm myself by repeating numerous times, you have to experience bad luck so you know what good luck is. :)
