Its not often that Mark Purdon throws his toys out of the cot but boy he has held nothing back after his drive in the 2 year old trot on Jewels day Arya was relegated from second for causing interference to Speeding Star 400m from home. I was there Saturday and struggled to see anything and having watched it a few times since I can see why Purdon is so angry.Would love a few comments from over the ditch but i'm with Mark Purdon on this one

Didn't appear to be a lot in it and I guess the only way to really tell would be the head on footage. Marks left arm popped up in the air just after Speeding Star went into a break but he could have been pulling the plugs at that exact time. If anything, Maybe a bit of tightening when the inside horse was trying to get off the rail. Brave decision by the stewards and Mark probably has every right to be annoyed.
