How do caretaker trainers get away with not buying their own gear, sulkies etc and using that of the old trainer?

Some of the new trainers even use the stables of the old trainer. Do they pay rent?

Yes it is a joke ,some of these caretaker trainers go from having no horses to having 50 horses on their books overnight.
