18th June the Supreme Court handed down its decision in McCarthy v HRNSW and Appeals Tribunal regarding the Appeals Tribunal not awarding costs to McCarthy in the Mach Wiper case. http://hrnsw.com.au/hrnsw-media-release861.html
Lengthy reading, but I would daresay it can be summarised as McCarthy won, the Appeals Tribunal has to determine costs for the plaintiff according to law and HRNSW is to pay the amount set.
