A winner of 7/30 NZ who notched his 2nd win for David Aiken in his 13th start for him at Bendigo on Thursday night. Led and ran last half in 55.4 in a C4 says he will win a few more

Was at Geelong Saturday - Celebrity Lass will win again soon. The stewards report will be interesting but at least it has been consistent. If it gets a crack at them next time (one way of another) it should win.

I also thought The Red Opal was a shade unlucky after getting shuffled back from the good draw and checked. They did go 1:55 for the mile so perhaps in a race with a slightly slower tempo next time it may bob up.

Also noticed one called This Is Your Life who looked good in the pre-race. Was huge odds but made a little ground late for 5th although beaten 20 metres - another which might "pop up" in one of those $3000 races somewhere or at a midweek.

I reckon it might be a while before winner of the first, Buddy Stoked starts at $4.60 again
Handing over the training to David Aiken might also be the best move owner David White has made

Chevron was driven like it was better than them at Bendigo last night - pushing onto the lead despite a bad draw and the cracking pace (our own Nathan would not be happy with why that pace occurred)
But Chevron was not better than Shakchloe who was driven more patiently. Fast MR of 1.57.2 over the 2150m trip

After tonight's win I'd be willing to back Philadelphia Man in just about anything. Outstanding performance first up for 2+ years. Cannot wait to see Maximan, LennyTS, Guaranteed & this bloke clash in a race....good times ahead.

I was right about the $4.60 but DW back to training him himself
He did not race like the same horse at Menangle today. I know they are only early 3yo's and can be inconsistent but the race panned out the same as it did at YV 8 days ago and at YV he ran that last 28.5 Q into a STRONG wind while today he did not give a yelp and could not finish in 29

By the looks of it the horse wasn't with Aiken for long. Trialled Sept28 at Coolamon for White.

Vanderley having his first start for 17 months for Emma Stewart in the first at Melton on Friday could be another comeback pacer
He has shown ability in his 5 starts and has some pretty handy siblings. He has won a trial and being with this stable will probably be very short

These two meet again in Race 6 at Shep tonight. It is a small field of 5 but could be a cracking race

I think Chevron must be looking for the paddock - I know he did it tough but he was gawn at the 400m. I will reserve judgement on him until I see how he comes back

As much as $7 a place could be found with This Is Your Life, who I think is running somewhere in a pretty hot race over the next few days. Pity its not always that easy to spot 'em!

Vanderley sat 3w and won in good time - no surprise
What surprised me was Gavin Lang, unhappy with trailing Gotta Go Henry driven by John Justice being a little too close, so he headbutted it a few times by throwing his helmeted head back
