I thought it would be a good idea to acknowledge a skilful (or lucky) drive of the week! (Monday to Sunday). Anybody want to put forward a suggestion to kick things off! If you are a driver, even better!

Luv it!...........Drove too good early to get behind the lead, then got shuffled back 2F to 4F, off fence 600, 3 & 4 wide late........perfect drive! You would nearly have torn your ticket up at the bell!

Thought the drive on the 2nd horse in this was sensational, T Buchanan, I've got it all.

Take your point, he could see the sit horse was getting tired, and instead of going 3 wide, elected to switch back to the fence, and take it's position.......probably still would have ran 2nd pushing/waiting to go 3 wide at the turn! But to see the run back on the fence was perceptive!

What about Matt Craven last night at Bendigo, Race 5 to bring Znana a Peter Manning trained horse from well back in the field in a scorching 1:55:7.

Top drive, Buried back in the field and had a lot of traffic to get through and got the chocolates.

Made the right call to follow With Gusto, instead of Cool Machrista down the back, to get the run 3WT, but in the straight Cool Machrista rallied again and beat With Gusto for fourth, he could have easily been held up between runners! Good call, and it worked out!

As Kev pointed out in another post, that equalled the track record, before it was broken later in the night!

Interesting one Noel. I am not sure how much he made it happen or how much it fell his way.
One thing I do know, is that Znana likes a hot pace (esp in November?)
It was this time last year that as a 3yo she set the Horsham Track Record. I was there when she sat on the cracking speed set by her more favoured stablemate and finished over the top of him

Your not suggesting a MM run are you?
