And to think, just 3 starts ago he went around 10/1 from a good barrier draw......the 3rd Hall Snr elect that night! Starting the season, I'm sure the stable didn't have this bloke within cooee of Machtu & Elegant Christian......he may just prove to be a whole lot better.

Backed him that night. Jnr must of thought he was pretty good, had 7 in that race and chose to drive him.

Waylade's family is very consistent, Dallas(Mango)has a Rock n Roll Heaven colt from the same close up family going to the APG sales and would be over the moon with Waylade's form and potential.

He's chasing some good horses from nz and even the US for the upcoming inters in Perth. This guy only being 4 and lightly raced, only see him improving with more racing he will be a key player for the next few seasons and the inters.

Great to have WA stories Lisa - thanks. Mind boggling to think a trainer had 7 in the one race

The highlight of the night for me was the Norm's Daughter. She didn't win but Libertybelle Midfrew's run was massive after not being able to get in early and racing a bit erratically.

Yeh she deserved the win after all the work she done. Driven a bit erratically early! Trying to slot her into the running line on not one occasion but two, clearly wasn't enough room on both occasions and could of caused more trouble.

The barrier beat her, but what a run! Tough horse!

Waylade is a very nice type! Great runs by SG and LBM! Looking forward to seeing them clash again!
