Franco Ledger is an interesting runner for Webster, I watched him win his Aussie debut although nowhere near the quality of this field his run was impressive over the 1720 sprint with a 1:53 mile rate, 55.8 half and 27.6 last qtr. Be interested to see if he is up to Grand Circuit racing.

Excellent field. Maximan probably comes out humming to lead? He was impressive last week. Come On Frank drawing inside him is interesting. Could Frank come out hard? Lance probably goes looking for lead then a trail on his drive. Loved how Flaming Flutter stretched out last time out. Has Grand Circuit potential but is probably one year short of his best... Guaranteed should be winning but the draw makes it interesting.

And of course forgot to mention Franco Ledger. His NZ form combined with his last-start win makes him a genuine threat here.

& probably the fastest beginner of the lot out of the 1 just to throw another spanner in the mix early on. imo it really is a great draw that should result in a great spectacle + throw in Jimmy Jacques' call.
