I'll be there ... and I certainly would never have been buying one to sell at the trialling sale, anyway. It's a shame that sale has failed ... just seems no one can find a way to make them viable. I think they're quite a good thing for the industry and stimulates interest in the sport.

I wouldn't mind a future broodmare so bring me home any of Lots 1, 159 or 195 thanks Ben :D

Well, I can certainly do a deal with Lot 159, seeing we're the ones selling her! Hope a few others at the sale share your enthusiasm!

Thanks! We bought her mother (Sapphire Lil) as a yearling in NZ then had great fun racing her. Her filly's a cracker. Like I said, hopefully plenty of others agree, we get a fair price and she goes to a good home.

Those of you on Twitter will find a number of owners/breeders etc who have listed their lots with photos.

Here is Lot 66 for Sunday's Melbourne sale - Bettor's Delight out of the brilliant race mare Jazzam

There is a lot of interesting stuff on the APG website but you would think they could have incorporated these pics too

NB - the site will provide live streaming of the sale

How did you go Ben?
I was streaming but being down in Melb was eating up mobile allowance so I was connecting and disconnecting but with APG site difficulties missed your girl.
I would have gone but for the dog

Wow the results are already up (good work APG)
Ben would be out celebrating Eq top filly in sale!

Yes, we were very happy with the result.
She was a great type of filly - and we're rapt she was bought by a client of David Aiken, who trained the filly's dam, Sapphire Lil, for us with good success.
While it's great to get a good price, it's so important they go to a good home. It was a win on both counts for us.
Now we've got another 12 months to get Lil's Bettors Delight filly ready for APG 2016.

No doubt David had some influence

Yes, he certainly gave her a glowing endorsement. He really liked her mum and thought the filly was a great type. Hope his judgement is spot-on!
