No day off Kev but it's going to be a long one.

Thanks Trevor. There's another one who goes really good whose name escapes me at the moment that's out of an Art Major mare (full brother Perfect Art).

Super proud of big Bolt and Leigh and Allison.

By the way the notes in the stewards comments "Hung In, Contacted Marker Pegs, Warning Issued" refer to the owner at 1.30am this morning not me horse.

Excellent result Paul, The conversation at 130am would have been interesting.

We clearly knew something when we gave AFL his own thread
Now a 1.49.5 Gp2 winner as a C2

It is hard to believe that you can come home in 27.8 and 26.6 (aproximately) and be beaten nowadays

It was the only race it happened in but maybe that is why this was the Gp3 of the night

A very good result for Rock N Roll Heaven, sire of the first two placegetters. Combined with the outstanding Jewels win yesterday by Heaven Rocks, I think RNR Heaven has put to rest the notion that he is only a fillies sire.

Who is the best? AFL has its own forum but the horse that beat it last night is just as good.

I think AFL is the better (certainly faster) but Pat the main reason he has his own thread is that one of our posters is his breeder (and former owner)

Kev, I was aware of that and a great idea. Both horses records compare quite well wins/$,similar records and the same Sire. AFL does have that <1:50 mark but 408 has got under the radar and it will be interesting how this unfolds i.e can one or both go onto be topliners?

I have been told by a 'very interested party' :) that in his first US start, he won as he liked in 1.50.3 on an 800m track

To be accurate, it is a 1,000m track.
AFL looked strong and well within himself going to the line.

Now a 9yo in the US, Toohard's Miracle Mile horse 'Bolt' has once again found himself in a knowledgeable stable and has won 4 of his last 7 with 2 seconds and a fourth
