why would you bet on Harness racing in Australia

I gave up betting on trots a couple of decades ago and after seeing the start in Yarra valley race 2 people will understand why.
Every driver off the front line should be fined and suspended for not being anywhere near the gate on release.

Agreed.
The front line are supposed to be on the gate. That should have been called off and restarted..I can't find the specific rule to state this.
New starter needed for that track !!!
