I may roll this into the Stewards thread but for now it is stand alone.

Query Improved Performance

What is the point of it?!
The stewards do nothing more than ask the question - to which there is always some answer (even I could make up a decent one)

Do the stewards think it scares trainers as they think 'they're watching us'

It seems to be nothing more than a public relations exercise ie Let's pretend we are doing something

I Agree Kev.....never any follow up as I see it. If they check recent runs, betting, race class and gate you could probably work it out themselves without asking for an excuse. Im sure most trainer would not care once they have walked out of the room.
Ps i can access some of that info myself and make my own conclusion.
