Veteran Drivers Feature at Bendigo

I thought about totaling the number of winner driven by the 12 Veterans driving at Bendigo on Saturday night, but the stats only go back into the 70s.

No good, as Colin Redwood started in 1954, and Neville Welsh drove his first winner at Horsham, aged 16 in ( I think) 1956.

Anyone willing to take a guess at the total?

Inter Dominion winners Brian Gath, Jim O'Sullivan and Cliff Powell
and Dick Lee, Peter Manning, Colin Redwood, Noel Shinn, Bill Spiteri, Russell Thomson, Neville Welsh, Graeme Whittle and Glenn Williams.

Not too sure about totals Noel, but I would reckon Jim O'Sullivan to have close to the highest total in the days where records were not so well kept.
When he was in Queensland I think he was doing astronomical numbers for his era, remember in those days driving premierships were often won with 30/40 winners.
