Elizabeth Clarke (Chairperson) HRV Board
Wendy Greiner HRV Board
Paul James Clubs nominee
Lance Justice Trainers and Drivers nominee
Tony Britt Breeders nominee
Carol Bass Owners nominee
Michael Taranto Trotters nominee
Matthew Craven HRV Appointee
Lisa Miles HRV Appointee
Craig Nott HRV Appointee
Desiree Pettit-Keating HRV Appointee

HRV Board established criteria/guidelines for the appointment of Council members. In summary they are:
Nominees of industry groups
Young participants
Gender representation
Punter representation
Marketing/strategy expertise

I am not sure how we ended up with 3 trainer drivers - for the important 'Marketing' our own Kyle Galley would have those 3 covered

You won't get far if you don't put your name forward or get nominated.

Each group/kindred body was allowed a nominee. The way it reads they will be only in until June next year.

There's a fair spread of appointees by geography,
Elizabeth Clarke (Chairperson) Terang
Wendy Greiner HRV Board ( don't know)
Paul James Clubs nominee Ballarat
Lance Justice Trainers and Drivers nominee Melton
Tony Britt Breeders nominee Bendigo
Carol Bass Owners nominee Pascoe Vale
Michael Taranto Trotters nominee Cranbourne
Matthew Craven HRV Appointee Terang/Warrnambool
Lisa Miles HRV Appointee Romsey area
Craig Nott HRV Appointee Hampton
Desiree Pettit-Keating HRV Bendigo area

Goulbourn Valley from Kilmore north-east missed out , and no-one north of Bendigo or Ballarat

Greetings - a long time reader but have just joined to be able to contribute.

I live at Pascoe Vale South - nowhere near Cranbourne! I have a lot of friends that way though. Have also spent many years in the Wallan/Kilmore area.
I believe Craig Nott is from Geelong.

If you have any issues you would like to be considered by the Council, don't hesitate to send me an email

Cheers

And what else is a bit further up the line after you get to Cranbourne?

Anyone?

Need a clue?

I can't hear you!!

Trafalgar ( but first you get off the freeway to go to Warragul).

Trafalgar ( but first you get off the freeway to go to Warragul).

Yeah fair point! Also known as Traf - reverse the letters on that at your peril.

I hope the Advisory Council knows where Warragul is.

It may just be you - in fact it is very much thanks to you Kyle that Warragul seems much greater in stature than Cranbourne nowadays

Don't know of the board members but the rest are all passionate harness racing people. Can only be good.

Elizabeth Clarke (board member) was previously Manager at Terang - long term harness participant and wife? of Bruce Clarke (Gammalite fame)

Might be appropriate the VHRSC check over it's full page inside back cover ad in the HARNESS RACER publication before they put someone up?

DF very lucky to be there. If any other official did what he did at Yarra Valley, they would have been sacked - no question about it. While we have rules for some and not others we have minimal integrity - tough I know but true

Was thinking that may have been one of the reasons the Minister was taking so long with it Kev.

Wayne, it would be nice to think he was across the YV incident but I doubt it
