An excellent article by Michael Howard with good use of links to HRV's 'The Trots' on Youtube (good to see near HD 720p available) even if a couple of them were a bit short

Yannick will be tested tonight with his drives including a 6yo first starter and 27 start maiden

I hope they get a few people along and they dont race to empty stands - that would be embarrassing when it is called the International All Star Series

Yannick got the first double, followed by Brett Miller the second day and now Dexter Dunn brings home the third double today as the Internationals continue to dominate

Oops one more race to go tonight. Kerryn as good as home with a 10.5 pt lead and although the Vics only have a 3.5 pt lead over 'the World', Vic drivers are on Jason Bonnington's first four tips

Great coverage by the media all day in Bendigo
http://www.harnesslink.com/
Highlights were a Civic Welcome at the Town Hall by the Mayor and councillors, with w 50th Birthday cake for Anthony Butt, meeting Marilyn Monroe (the statue( and a great night's racing.
Kudos to owners and trainers for the horses entered in the races for the International Drivers to show their skills.

I imagine it will get a run on the local news on Monday or sometime during the week - let us know Noel (what is Bendigo's equivalent of Ballarat's WIN?)
This is why the country is the lifeblood of harness racing - because it gets media coverage in the country

Does Bendigo have Win also for TV? Ballarat does so perhaps that club will have a story too. They run a national highlights news weekdays at Noon (I catch any out of area stuff on this) with local bulletins weeknights at 7pm.

I just remembered I can get Everybody's local news since I got VAST TV and yes Bendigo/Shep have their own WIN news. I know WIN Ballarat often spread the weekends sport reports throughout the week's news (unfortunately I will not be home next week to keep an eye out for it)
