Having recently mounted a very strong challenge for Rampaging Ray Moroney's nickname 'The Anvil'...I will decline from making any selections for fear of stopping them like they'd been shot. Rids, please be sure to pass that on to Ray if you see him around town.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I can't Mango. My tipping is Toxic at the moment. It's a Bio-Hazard. I don't get beat by panels of fencing...I get beat by half a length, a neck, a nose. That's much worse.

Hi Mightymo

I like La Machane i just think with The Good Times draw tonight it will make it very hard for her.

will sit outside her and just be too quick in the straight

Fillies:
The Good Times from the draw in what essentially is a warm up for next week for it and La Machane.
Secret Desire for the same reasons over Shake It Mama.

C&Gs:
Mr Nickel. Even from the draw can't see anything beating him. The easier heat.
Fly Like An Eagle. I expect them to go a little hard early there could be 4 vying for the lead and you just cant give FLAE an advantage.

Others. Iv'e tipped some shorties in the features so will steer clear of those here.
Palais Du Louvre
Milliara Lombo
Zedalite
Lets Slash N Burn
Red Sumarai

Great to see the la machane and secret desire backers get up. Will just make one selection. Make Mine Cullen. This is the best mare in Australia who is a class above this field. Despite the less than ideal draw, she is not to be discounted.

That was MMC's first start back since Roger passed away. :(

Looks like there's one Golden Rule as far as Punting on Age Group Racing goes here in the Southern Hemisphere at the moment...NEVER bet against Bettor's Delight fillies. La Machane & Rubeelee...1-2. Crunched them. For the Final....it'll be Sugars and his gal to take it all.

Hey Triple

La Machane and Rubeelee seem to be a class above at the moment but i also thought the run of Secret Desire was promising.

I caught that race and La Machane looked very good, as did the second filly. Good racing to watch.

Here's an interesting thing, yet another breeding related aspect from me but nonetheless worth the repeating.
Bettor's Delight has proven himself to be an extremely versatile horse by way of the fact that he has been successful with mares by a very wide range of broodmare sires from across the entire spectrum of sirelines, up to and including being successfully bred back to his own sireline by way of covering mares by sons of Cam Fella such as Goalie Jeff, Presidential Ball etc. During his career he has also covered quite a few mares Western Hanover but given the quality of the mares involved and the number of times it has been carried out it's basically the one & only 'X' with daughters of another high profile, extremely successful sire that doesn't seem to work for him.
Yet at the same time it seems that BD X's really well with daughters of Die Laughing, a horse who was a high profile disappointment. He has done it in the US and also here in Oz...and BD has also kicked goals with mares by No Nukes himself as well as his sons Jate Lobell and a couple of others. Work that one out.

Just goes to show a good sire will throw them from just about anything

Hello Hello,

Another good post on the breeding side Triplev123. The only point that i would like to make is the quantity of mares that he has served. Do you have those details VVV as I think that these huge books of mares would increase the number of each sireline represented and the chances of a good winner from them.
