...I understand that I am in good company as a larger than life fellow who is by far and away a superior Punter to myself, one who numbers amongst the connections of the first 3 across the line, was under instructions from those assembled to do so for $5 but apparently, due to what was described to me by one of his many compatriots as being 'excessive socialising' he did not.;););););)
I thought the winner and both the placegetters put in superb efforts and interestingly, for three very different reasons. Baby Bling led them up, scooted along and punched out the final 8th to score, Jennas Highview hung tough as an Elephant's Arse Steak in the breeze for 2nd despite pulling hard for much of it and Vertigal suffered traffic problems for much of the last 800m and still roared home for 3rd. Given the way the race panned out those 3 fillies could not have gone any better than they did and their connections must have left Melton very pleased with their respective efforts.

yes big runs, im not so sure why everyone froths about thorns horses sprinting, (barring vertiga)l i think his horses best runs are very tough, mister anthony, jennas highview and sprinting 4/5 wide without cover for 600/500 metres is tough if you ask me

Well done Mightymo, I was cheering her home, as I would for any forum members horse :) Sorry about having to scratch Lanercost too by the way Montana, Lanny had the draw to really give the Sunshine Sprint a shake up tonight. Always next time :)
