I just did a quick total of the financial penatilies that are listed in the NSW Stewards Reports. Since the 10th of June, 2011, a period of some 6 weeks or so, fines totalling at least $9,500 have been handed out to drivers & trainers here in NSW.
If that basic rate is a normal thing, if it's pretty much par for the course...then I make it that the annual rake is up somewhere in the vicinity of $80,000. Ouch!
I think maybe the fellas are taking a lead from the Bankstown Parking Cops. Last time I ventured over that way it cost me $150. :rolleyes:
