Why can't we have split vision telecasts

Watching The North America Cup today it was great to have the split screen like we see in NZ
It gives you the opportunity to see what type of horse the various runners are

It was especially important for the feature as they weren't running on time (they're not thinking of clashes in Oz, where there is lucky to be $1k on the parimutuel anyway) and there was a clash so we only got half the screen so the close up quarter of the screen made up for it

Why can't we have the split screen close ups for our races?
