It is the first Vic 2yo race of the season at Maryborough on Wednesday
The first two Ride High's go around - a good showing could not hurt his prices at the remaining yearling sales

NSW has its third 2yo race of the season today (Newcastle and Riverina have had one) with some excellent breeding on show

Soho Trump is all the rage in the betting but A Buck Ten is certainly bred in the purple
San Sebastion is certainly worth a look also.
Oh most definitely Phil
It is going to be interesting to see if Art Major and Bettors Delight can finally produce a REAL successor
At this stage I would much rather gamble (not so much a gamble going on stats) on yet another Somebeachsomewhere line successor
Bronte Nieuwenburg has done a comprehensive write up of the Maryborough 2yo

If we select according to sire - we would have to go Heavenly Nicky as Rock N Roll Heaven is easily the best performed sire
If we select according to broodmare - we would go Maxo Mighty as Princess Dilinger has been an outstanding producer
Menangle today was a case of the money being right, Soho Trump wins but only just, A Buck Ten went enormous. San Sebastion was reasonable. The rest will need to improve, and you can pretty well expect them to.
Babies running 1:54.5 on debut is something I never thought would be seen in Australia!
Today's Maryborough 2yo has only 6 horses. 2 are scratched so 4 runners. Sums up the industry atm.
Only 6 in the last at Bendigo on Wednesday night but No.'s 1 & 6 are bred in the purple

WA's feature 2year old races have already started. Announcement to bring them forward was made in December, too late for trainers to even get their horses ready in time if they weren't already in work.
Good to hear from you Katie
Yes, I saw that the Western Crown winners are at the top of the HRA 2yo winners
