The Met Reduces Stakes

The effective date looks to be coming a black day for the Racing Industry. First the "Integrity Unit" comes into being now this. Wonder if the Met are anticipating big rise in costs paying for the new toy? Once again I think the "if it's not broken...." syndrome applies here. Has the Industry bitten off more than it can chew. I can't help wondering how many free lunches have been thrown around getting it going.
