Cooler in than out

We asked our Vet came out the other day to check out one of the foals that was having a little bit of difficulty clearing manure because it had become a bit dehydrated in all the heat we had here in Sydney last week. Anyway, for ease of handling we put the mare & foal in a Box and got hold of the foal. He checks it over, listens to it's gut & so on and decides to take it's temperature. The thermometer comes out and he shows me that it's reading 42.5, which is the ambient air temperature. He sticks it in the foal's backside and it goes down to 37.7. ;);););););)

You had me worried for a few seconds.

That post of mine probably reads like a racey novel to the Kiwis. :p

If you had added just one or two french words the entire male population would be walking around like half opened pocket knives.
