What a shame.
I'm a big fan of Dasher and was in the same boat, very interested to see him on the bigger track.
Yes that is a shame i was also looking forward to seeing him run on the big track at Menangle.
Steward's report says he was examined by the vet pre-race as he appeared to be lame in the preliminary and was passed fit.
Makes the run even bigger as it would seem he ran less than 100%
