Pukekohe harness racing trainer Dave McGowan is setting his sights high with up and coming pacer Pure Power. McGowan trains the powerful son of Grinfromeartoear in partnership with his wife Clare, long-term the pair would desperately like to have a crack at a Miracle Mile on the fast Menangle circuit, but in the mean-time co-trainer Dave McGowan has been in the South Island putting the finishing touches on the promising gelding in preparation for this Saturday's (June 4) $150,000 Harness Jewels 4YO Emerald (Group 1).
