I cannot find the pools for that race but if we were to say that we would like the stakes to be somewhere in the vicinty of 10% of the pools, is it a possibility that they did not hold 15,000 on this race (such a short fav would not help this either)?

You're not wrong Brad. If NSW alone held that much! Pretty poor Vic results gives you pools for Vic but abbreviated results for Globe Derby.
Thought Repelems effort in the Empire Vicbred 4YO's Final at Melton tonight in running second was a great reward for this gallant little SA mare. Of her 45 career starts, that was only her fourth in Vic. Would love to see the Hryhorecs take her over the border a bit more often, atleast she is racing for prizemoney worthy enough of her ability. Gutsy little thing she is.
Very classy. She fronts up and gives of her best every time she steps out. Comes from a family that Ron Croghan imported from NZ back in the early 1960's.
