Again he has 5 of the 8 in the 2yo at Bendigo tomorrow (4 the same as last time) and 6 of the 8 runners were in the same race (above) 11 days ago
One of the problems with Regional racing - this could happen a lot

The stewards will want to be watching this one closely

Valkyrie v 5 runners for the Disqualified One, was 6 before scratchings,
Viva La Rock is debuting at Shep tonight
The 3rd dam will ring a few bells for older readers
The 2nd dam is a half sis to Our Sir Vancelot

Tough Tilly the half sister to ill-fated Centenario makes her debut at Ballarat tonight
Emma Stewart has 3 first starters in the race with Blake Redden tipping one of her other runners in Platinum Sparkle
http://www.harness.org.au/racing/fie...20#BAC06052006
Douglas had 6 of the 8 starters in the 2yo at Bendigo today but the 2 from other stables filled the quinella

2yo Manho making his debut in R2 at Menangle today is from mare Full Pleasure and therefore has 5 siblings who have won in excess of $237k
There are a couple of other interesting first starters in the race too
http://www.harness.org.au/racing/fie...20#MEC19052001
Full Pleasure can lay claim to being Australia's best broodmare. First TEN foals are all winners, Manho is her 11th foal. His full brother, Nowitzki, won the WA Gold Nugget at four years. Being by Art Major he is a 3/4 brother to the great Vincent. Manho has big boots to fill.
5 first starters in a field of 6
All by different sires
And all from proven broodmares
Makes R1 at Stawell tomorrow
An interesting one

Alta Christiano's Mighty Ronaldo won the Golden Slipper at GP last night
http://www.harness.org.au/racing/fie...20#GPM10072001
If you are watching the replay he is near last on the fence but gets into the 1x3 at the bell (the caller does not call him for over a minute)
I would not be surprised if Celestialfragrance, winner of the 2yo at Stawell yesterday at only his second start, has better races in him
http://www.harness.org.au/racing/fie...20#SWC15072007
If you go back and look at his first start you will see that they took the cautious approach from easing him out from the draw and he had to come from last

I cannot remember the last 2yo race at Mildura (not that I follow them closely)
There are 2 going around in a 2&3yo combined tomorrow
First starter Union King has an interesting 3m x 3f Abercrombie cross
His 2nd dam is a half sister to Aus Gp1 winner Kingstar (who went to the US and ended up having 324 starts - placed in over half of them)

Bondi Lockdown made an impressive debut at Stawell today
He rated 1.57.1 despite going awkwardly around the tight top turn to run down the ever consistent Bonnie Belle
You have to factor in that the Tk Rec at Stawell is only 1.55.7
He is a Somebeachsomewhere half bro to Rocknroll Eyes and Joeys Hangover
http://www.harness.org.au/racing/fie...20#SWC29072007
The last at Shep was some race between Idyllic and Lochinvar Chief
The Chief can follow in his illustrious stablemate's footsteps and become a future topliner
Idyllic was backed off the map but he was first up compared to LC being 3rd up
I had missed Idyllic's breeding up until tonight - he is a full bro to Australian 2yo and 3yo filly of the year Petacular

Thanks to one of our New South Wales readers for pointing this one out to me.
Check out Soho Almasi winning at Menangle yesterday
She rated 1.52.7 winning untouched by 16m coming home in 26.2
http://www.harness.org.au/racing/fie...20#PCC14092007
This was only her 3rd start, she won her first just as easily at Melton back in Feb (before blowing her next start when odds on for the Pink Bonnet)
Her mum Fususi was a star juvenile
7 first starters in the 2yo Maiden at Maryborough tomorrow
The fav Go Dancing is a Larrakeyah Lady descendant
While in the 2yo trot Evas Image is from champion juvenile trotter Shes An Image

The season would once have been over but we are just now getting serious in VIC and I assume so in NSW too
I thought we were seeing a bit of Stewart/Tonkin domination but when I looked at HRA's Top 20 stats
I see they have some ground to make up
You don't find a Vic until No.13 and that is Treachery thanks to a SA raid
8 of the Top 12 2yo earners at this point are from WA. QLD have 3

Sent another one from NSW
Bar Room Banta ran 1.51.8 in the 2yo at Menangle yesterday
Would that be a RECORD?
(a lot of age records are going to be broken with the season extended until Dec 31 forevermore)
http://www.harness.org.au/racing/fie...20#PCC22092009
Bar Room Banta’s 1min51.8sec mile, at just his third start, was just a half-second outside the Australasian record of 1min51.3sec set by Ignatius back on June 25, 2017.
Bar Room Banta is trained by Mick Stanley in Victoria, but loan to Craig Cross and Luke McCarthy to target the NSW Breeders Challenge.

Just quoting the article Breno
Maybe LM will do a Tonkin and start training some in his own name :D
All The Fours debuting today at Melton is out of star juvenile Vertigal
http://www.harness.org.au/racing/fie...20#MXC25092005
I thought it was like a Bingo name eg All the fours 44
We have the Vicbred Platinum Homegrown Classic heats for 2yo's at Ballarat tomorrow night
There are only a couple of first starters, one being In Charge who is a full sister to Nostra Beach and a half sister to Villagem and Miss Graceland
While in the last Anne has Beach Music a daughter of APG winner Musical Delight
http://www.harness.org.au/racing/fie...s/?mc=BA021020
Anne's Ladies In Red just got the series off to an amazing start
Dan Mielicki just put her 1.52.9 MR into perspective by saying
For years it was a benchmark to get a sub 2.00 MR
2yo Filly Ladies In Red at her 2nd start just ran 1.59.9 for 1710m
That means she would have been over 100m ahead of a horse running 1.59.9 for the mile
http://www.harness.org.au/racing/fie...20#BAC02102006
Congratulations Anne
Ladies In Red went even better this week to win the Gp2 final.
It wasn't so much going a second faster in 1.51.9, it was the way she did it from a poor draw, she came from last and was 3 wide while probably going 54 for her last half
http://www.harness.org.au/racing/fie...20#MXM10102007
Thank you. She’s a special little filly .
You can say that again
She’s a special little filly
http://www.harness.org.au/racing/fie...20#MXM23102007
That field was deserving of a Gp1
Emma Stewart trained the First 6
The Breeders Crown Heats for Ballarat on Wednesday are out
