Once again they have not got the numbers right in Goodform tonight
I am assuming so anyway as JB is talking about Glenavril King (3) in his write up but he has no.2 (the stablemate) in his tri's
It may have cost some punters a payout as 600% of 4-7-3 paid $151
-
$650 worth of bets suggested by JB tonight - they must pay him well
We might need a 'Gamble Responsibly' message stating these suggestions should not be followed in full unless you are earning about $500k a year
After all with gambling you have to allow for losing it all and you should not be gambling 10% of your income

Beginners mistake not to have 2-7-8 as well

JB would also admit for another $10 he should also have taken 10/2,4,7/1
and would have been $300+ better off for it
-
He is having one of those nights although he did make $200 on the Tri in R8
He didn't like the fav in the 3rd leg of the Quaddie and after the scratching took 6 of the 9 runners - if he takes the field for a few dollars more he gets a % of the $1,900, maybe even $900 worth
Tonight shows there is a fine line between Hero and Zero

JB had a good night at Melton last night despite a couple of mistakes! (I think it wasn't posted until very late as I did not see it until after the event)
A few winners AND both the main Quaddie
BUT if you looked at his Early Quaddie, he just had to take 6,7,9/1,8,10/1,4,6/2 for a minimum of 66% (probably twice this) as he took his lesser liked 6,7,9/4,9,11/1,4,6/2 for 66%. This oversight cost him $350 to $700
and in the R8 Tri he would have been kicking himself for not having at least a couple of units on 7/2,6/1 costing him $100+

I think JB has to slow down and check his numbers

This is why I would never make a serious punter. Obviously JB follows them 10 times more closely than I do but I wouldn't be game to be trying to get the R5 Tri 20 times or be happy backing Khafaji at $2.70 when his stablemate is $1.65, even if he is awkwardly drawn
-
JB has had a good night tonight - a couple of winners and a share of both quaddies

JB says he is backing 3 horses in R3 but only names 2

If you took JBs $120 Quaddie at Kilmore tonight you got a very handsome $1,377
-
It is probably just a coincidence that JB has no suggested bets for the 3 trots races at Geelong tonight

JB made a good profit out of the final of his main Quaddie options for Kilmore Cup night
Taking $90 worth he got 12.5% of $3,749.60 = $468.70
He also made $221 on R9 Tri's
Had $30 on Amazing Dream and maybe $10EW on The Penny Drops if you could get the price he wanted

We cannot be getting these things wrong (and potentially peeing off a convert)
Amore Vita is Race 5 No.1
-
Jason Bonnington has been very careless tonight (he is telling people how to bet but getting his numbers wrong!)
Here are his tips
https://www.thetrots.com.au/news/art...ark-game-plan/
Note his saver Quaddies
He has put 2,7,9,10 for the 3rd leg - these clearly cannot be right as there is only 9 starters
But it is hard to know what numbers he wanted as the %'s he is taking do not make sense for him taking 2,3, or 4 runners in that leg - we will say he got the 3rd leg as his top selection won BUT for what % who knows
-
PP has been pitting himself against JB for the last 3 weeks and has been winning very decisively
JB is -$420 (possibly < -$400 if you give him a small % of last night's quaddie)
PP is +$490

No tips up from JB yet - maybe he has conceded
Archie seems to be trying to blow him out of the water, having a look at the price of some of his tips
ps I have used the current TAB Fixed Odds as the pools are too small to use the Tote Odds
-
These were JB's tips
https://www.thetrots.com.au/news/art...ing-game-plan/
He had some collects but did not quite get his $300 back
While Archie made $380 profit. Love Ina Chevy at $13.90 was a Big result for him (plus Von Art at $3.10)

I don't watch Burning Questions because I don't need another dose of the supposed 'guru' (yep, that is how they describe him in the spiel even though he has not come close to breaking even for 4 weeks in a row)
But what I have missed out on is that Nikita Ross's best bet has come up 7 weeks in a row!
Time for Nikita to take over the Goodform Game Plan me thinks
-
It seems to me that JB put up his plan VERY VERY late tonight
Maybe he was trying to avoid a contest with PP (no tips up for PP possibly as a result of this, he generally follow JBs lead as to how much they are betting with)
Oh Well it may have been a big mistake by JB as he has got off to a good start (I didn't see his plan until after R1 and I had been looking for it)
-
JB has had a night out
He spent $70 to get the Early Quaddie 3 times 3x$24 =$72 so only $2 profit
He spent $30 to get the R3 First Four 2½ times 2½x$17 = $43 so only $13 profit
He spent $20 to get the R4 Tri twice 2x$21 = $42 so $22 profit
His biggie was $20 spent to get the R2 Tri twice 2x$62 = $124 so $104 profit
and having $10EW on Sassyola for a $90 return and a profit of $70
He spent $70 on the Quaddie to get half of $894 = $447 for $377 profit
$7 profit on an each way bet
So the best part of $600 profit on his $300 outlay
ps Does anybody know what Nikita's best bet was?
-
I am going to keep tabs on how JB goes
I didn't see his tips until this morning (up late?)
https://www.thetrots.com.au/news/art...-tabcorp-park/
$300 outlay for one return of $80 (5xTri)
- $220
