Ignatius had his first US start on Saturday in R9 at the Meadowlands and although he could only manage 4th in a $18k full of southern hemisphere horses, his final quarter was 25.2 (25.4)

Five Kiwi-breds, all well performed. Tough opposition first up for Dreamer but her two trials at The Meadowlands have been hugely impressive. A couple of the mare's have had their time in the spotlight, Amazing Dream has never been out of it. Interestin the connections opted to miss a heat of The Matchmaker at Yonkers for this.

Does anybody know if the Trittons took Funatthebeach NZ to the US with them?
When he was exported to Oz from NZ in late 2019 he only had the 2 starts here (for them) and I thought this would have coincided with them going to the US
Funatthebeach is atop the US earnings chart, having won $512,267 US so far this season but I note that he is leased and trained by somebody else
I reckon there will be quite a few rolling home from the Meadowlands on Saturday night
