Attachment 663Attachment 664 Newest baby bay filly. A Rocknroll Dance - Motu Rubiesnsatin nz. This is a half sister to a "grey" with blaze one I've posted on this forum before (also attached for comparison purposes) - the grey one is by Caribbean Blaster and is now dark brown/black.
This is the 3rd live foal for the year (4th in total), have a few due Dec/Jan. (I need someone to send me some better pics of them all.)
I remember the grey one well Katie, I hope he goes back to that colour with age as it is stunning

Mmm I'm not 100% sure but we bought Major Stare (1/2 bro to the baby) at the yearling sales so I guess the owners knew my Dad liked the line and looks after his horses well so they called him up &said she was for sale. Dad's always trying to improve his stable/breeding stock and Major Stare is a pretty good horse. Not sure if the owner was cutting back or what the reason for selling was but we're happy to have her and the bub :) (plus because she's in NZ, it means no one had to get up for the foaling alarm - BONUS!!!!!!!!!! (not that I have to, being in Canada but empathy and all that))
A pretty good family and lots of winners, Major Stare has already won a MO and in pretty good time at only its 5th start.

Finally got a colt Kevin, long as they get to the track it doesn't matter though. Got her filly from Sportswriter going to the sales but I don't think Sportswriters are going for much unless he pulls out a few big winners in the next couple of months.

You have good eyes Greg, I just thought it had a white hoof. :)
That is a therapeutic sole cuff, the foot is turned slightly inwards after birth. So it is put on by the vet to correct it over the next 2 weeks. It is glued onto the sole.
