A quick search shows it was originally named "Make Mine Diamonds". So it must have something to do with that .Quote:

Thanks Rick, I never thought to look at NZ as there was no NZ at the end. I see that the Butterworths purchased her from Benstud here and took her home to NZ where they named her and for some reason when she was exported back to Australia somebody decided the 'Just' was needed because there was Make Mine Diamonds 1982 (Deceased)
Peel My Grapes had her 50th unsuccessful start today - if you name your horse to be a chump, I guess that is what you get
Some may have put this name in the Brilliant Horse Names thread
It is no doubt controversial and I guess clever but I would not name my horse with such a connotation so I have put it in this Facepalm thread
