Merlin wins again in NZ but hard to deduce much from this one as they didn't break 2mins instead making it a 400m race (26.8)
The fillies was a better race with the Telfer stable having 4 of the 6 runners and winning with Forever Me in 1.55.1

Reviewing Bathurst, Jewel Melody toughed it out but you don't get a much slower final quarter than 31.2 in a Gp1 over 1730m
Tardelli was perfectly rated to make it near impossible for Petracca from that draw. They could provide some good contests in the future
