I have been neglecting this thread
R3 at Geelong tonight - 2yo having her 2nd start
Pick Up Line = Four Starzzz Shark x Chick At The Bar
I like Derrie Aire winner of the 3yo trot at Melton tonight
Dam Gluteus Maximus
It seems to me that the word derriere became popular again about the time Pippa was Princess Kate's bridesmaid - I guess because it was a royal wedding, they couldn't say she had a nice ass
The South Australian journeyman trotter: TENDAHO
Sire: TENNOTRUMP
Dam: GLORY LASS
Could the "HO" be derived from American slang?
American Ideal x Flair For Life = American Zest
A real oldie - she is a broodmare but I have just noticed the dam of Fatouche who won the last at Maryborough today
U R Whatu Eat = Frugal Gourmet x Iam What Iam
I like this one even if it is based on the dam only
Andyou = Majestic Son x Good Thanks
(she ran an excellent 2nd in the last at Maryborough today)
Congrats Stephen, he took you there one step at a time - 3rd, 2nd, 1st !
with a heart attack to boot!
So exciting to purchase a yearling and see it through to a win, love this sport..
Dog running at Ballarat Race 4 today
Far Clif Dyno
Lucky it wasn't involved in a close photo finish.
😃😃😃😃😃
A NZ one.
Bettors Delight - Elle Mary Rose
Name: Bet Out Of Ell
Brilliant
I'm voting for Far Clif Dyno, but I'm buggered if I know why??
Alright, need help again people. I have a Art Major / Reacquainted 2yo that needs a name..
annnnnddddd gooooooo.
Meet Magritte
or just Magritte
or Rene Magritte
Hello Picasso
Rembrandt reincarnate
Major Renaissance.
Reenlist.
Visit The Gallery
I don't think we are going to beat Renaissance
Renaissance is a sire though and his foals raced and won. I don't think they'd allow it
Thanks for the replies all. I've whacked in Renaissance as my name but I'm just a 10% shareholder ;) Will let you know the outcome!
I like the naming of the winner of R1 at Echuca tonight
Well Disguised = Well Said x Spyattheball
I know he has been going around for a couple of years but I am adding
Greg The Great = Great Success x Speedy Naomi
The main reason I am nominating him is really its link to the past, like so many trotters going around, if you go way back in his pedigree you will find plenty of Peter The Great
Like Noel, I think it is 'great' to keep our history alive
Another Snag out of Bruisedandbattered (also a well bred colt, being that Bruisedandbattered is out of Black And Blue which won 17 races and over $200,000. Black and Blue is daughter of Bonnie Blue Eyes who won the WA Oaks and is the dam of No Blue Manna. Of the famed Dainty's Daughter family also)
It has nothing to do with her breeding but in this times of litigation, the following is very clever
No Win No Feed
She is a 2yof having her first start at Melton tonight

Sounds good Steve
ps We'll Meet Again would have seen him become the pinup boy at every senior citz club but there is a NZ trotter going around with that name
Off topic but on No Win No Feed’s first up run, It’s one to follow
Watching Thoroughbred Central on this miserable day this name tickled my fancy
Snitzel x Whiting = Fish N Snitz
I know they had good material to work with but nevertheless 2yo first starter in R1 at Bendigo tonight is very good
Speed Dating = Chick At The Bar x All Speed Hanover
They did well with her sister too
Pick Up Line = Chick At The Bar x Four Starzzz Shark
ps If you hadn't heard of All Speed Hanover - he served 50 (how did he attract that many?) but this is his only crop as he is now deceased
I had to google him but I see he beat Sportwriter as a 2yo in the Breeders Crown. Maybe he piggybacked on the Sportswriter hype in Vic?
Also the guy who does the driving for trainer Craig Cross, Luke McCarthy, is also quoted as saying All Speed Hanover is the most gifted 2yo he has driven.

And a good mares side I guess goes towards him getting 50 services.
