Some years ago I stopped at Paleface's statue in Temora in the late afternoon on a sunny, windy autumn day, and the nearby poplar trees were shedding their leaves in the flickering afternoon light, thus creating the illusion that Paleface was alive and pacing again.

It was a sunny, windy, autumn day yesterday too Steve - feeling very sad in the dunce's corner ;)
I did see Peppertree Stud (long time sponsor of the ClassicFamilies site) , just out of Young - from all the time I have spent on the ClassicFamilies site, I could spot Peppertree's font from a mile away
-
Wasn't Pepper Tree if you were just out of Young they are at Cowra Success is at Young
-
Are you lost Kev? Mistaken font? Need a map?
-
Too many towns! It was Pepper Tree BUT I was just out of Cowra on our way to Canowindra - our overnight stopover (I was getting tired Noel)
The reason I mentioned their font was that I was actually distracted when we passed the entrance but knew I had just seen something familiar and I said to my better half "what was that last farm?" and she said..... Waffling, I know but I was amazed that it registered without really having read it
