Yes it is,the adjective of Hippodrome.Not only a word but used in its proper context.

In my 32 yrs, 11 months, 356 days on this earth I have never heard of such a phrase. I must be naive!

You don't agree with the context of the usage (please give the alternative) then you aver no knowledge of the phrase (or is that the word?)

Yes that's correct. After reading the press release I put google to good use to look up the word hippodrome. Exactly what Megan does prior to writing her press release!

I would have just used the word passion on it's own, I think the adjective was unneccessary.
