Grimson and owner Mick Boots opted to skip the Inter Dominion and stay focused on landing the $1 million bonus for winning all five legs of the NSW Carnival of Cups.
Swayzee won the first two at Parkes (September 20) and Young (November 8) and now heads to Tamworth on January 17.
Victory at Tamworth would secure Swayzee at least a $250,000 bonus. That doubles to $500,000 if he can win Tamworth and add Albury on February 14.
All going well, the rising seven-year-old would then be racing for the $1 million bonus at Penrith on March 15.

Well if he is prepared to go around to all these tracks in an effort to win a million bucks , good luck to him.
So if he wins tonight & gets $250,000 he has done his job & honestly only bad luck can beat him tonight.

It could have been interesting if Master Catch had not chopped in front of Cya Art down the back as Cya was making ground very quickly before he did

I think Cameron had to wake him up & he did it easy in the end. He could have gone another lap IMO.

Well I did not see that happening. Top drive.
Not the sort of protest they would uphold but the winner definitely made Swayzee cover over a metre of extra ground by running out throughout the race

He sure is a good horse now. I would love to see the MM run again with him sitting outside DH.
Lets hope the draw favors him in WA.
How can a horse race at the absolute top level with rarely an easy run and be contemplating extending his current 6mth campaign to 7 or 8 months?
