D-Dsy 13 /11/12 NZ Trotting Cup and Luke McCarthy Appeal

The big day finally arrives tomorrow in Kiwi Land. With the injury cloud over Sushi Sushi and a question mark over Carribean Blaster, Auckland Reactor drawn at the back, Terror To Love gets a second to none chance of bagging the Cup. Only the real good ones get their name on this trophy. Looking forward to it.

Oh yeah, there is a possibility that the appeal of L McCarthy also will be heard tomorrow if another stay isn't granted.

You may be surprised to know that the most recent 6 week adjournment was at the request of HRNSW, not McCarthy

Luke McCarthy free to train. HRNSW did not even contest appeal!!!

Having read the Stewards Wrap, this will cast doubts on the Lab results as being the be all. How many more "innocent" trainers are infact innocent but could not pursue it like Luke could. Barry Lew !!!!!!!!

Unfortunately (due to work, bloody inconvenient), could only come home and watch the replay, that Terror To Love is just an awesome animal, had to make two runs and had enough in his legs to shoulder out from what looked an impossible position...massive performance. Highview Tommy (Brenno) has shown us over here what he is capable of at big odds before, and I wonder are we starting to see Sushi blossom into the horse he has promised to be. (Have been a confirmed knocker of him for a while now and will be happy for him to make me look like a goose).

As a spectacle the Cup lived up to all expectations, shame it was only off a replay though.
