Hi everyone, been reading these forums for a while finally decided to join and post.
I think the Sydney horses will be quite interesting to follow. Grand Stride is probably the pick on current form along with Medal of Honour. I think Type Thing has plenty of upside and Gamechanger was awesome on debut (he also beat Grand Stride easily), then a big question mark on him after the Sapling.
Whether any of them are in the same league as Fly Like an Eagle is unlikely. Restrepo looked to be the Aust benchmark, shame he is out.
Friday night should hopefully tell us a lot more.
